Malodorous was started in early 2007 after Chase Martin (Pig Grinder) met Mike O'Hara (Splattered Entrails) and they started talking. Chase had asked Mike if he wanted to start a purely death metal/grind project, Mike had agreed. They quickly started making music and became somewhat widely known all within a month, with just releasing one song to the unexpecting world.
